It’s sweater weather, and we’re celebrating with a special one-day portrait event in Burien, WA. Bring up to three kids and we’ll make a series of beautiful, fall-themed portraits of each of them—usually in less than a minute per kid.
For $69, you’ll get the complete collection of high-resolution digital photos to download and keep.

What should they wear?
Think cozy. Think autumn. Think sweater weather.
Warm earth tones like rust, mustard, cream, brown, olive, burgundy and tan will photograph beautifully. Sweaters, cardigans, corduroy, denim and simple layers are all great choices.
A few quick guidelines:
Coordinate, don't match: Complementary colors look more natural than identical outfits.
Keep patterns simple: Plaids and subtle patterns are great; avoid anything overly busy.
Skip the graphics: We'd recommend leaving hoodies, large logos, graphic tees and neon colors at home.
Let them be themselves: The most important thing is that your kids feel comfortable and look like themselves.

This event is happening at Burien Community Center (14700 6th Ave SW, Burien, WA 98166)
Absolutely! The $49 reservation covers up to three children, and they don't have to all be siblings. If you have one child and they'd rather have their best friend—or two friends—join them, that's totally fine.
Each child will be photographed individually, so everyone gets their own set of portraits. Just make sure you have permission from the other children's parents or guardians before bringing them.
Really, really fast.
These are designed to be true micro-sessions. I can typically photograph one child in under 60 seconds.
In fact, every example photograph you've seen on this page was made in less than one minute.
The goal isn't to keep your kids standing in front of a camera for 15 or 20 minutes. We'll get them in, make some great photographs, and get them back to whatever they were doing.

Once your photographs are ready, you'll receive an online gallery where you can view and download all of the finished photographs from your session in high resolution.
There isn't a required print package or a minimum number of photographs you have to purchase.
Absolutely—and we hope you do!
Digital files are wonderful, but photography was meant to be printed. When your gallery is delivered, you'll have the option to order professional prints and other products directly through the gallery.
Prints are completely optional and are a separate cost. There is no requirement to purchase anything beyond your $49 session.
Kids are kids. That's part of the fun.
These sessions are intentionally short, and I'm used to working quickly with children. Rather than asking them to sit perfectly still and pose for an extended period, I'll work with whatever energy and personality they bring with them.
Sometimes the best photograph is the one that happens in the few seconds between poses.
